Looking at uses for redundant farm buildings
The Problem
Disused 30 year old farm buildings, not suitable for modern agricultural practices, in need of being put to other uses otherwise they would fall into disrepair and become a potential liability.
The Solution
We undertook a business and market analysis to investigate the profitability of conversion to rural workspace, identifying the market returns, the costs involved and the investment required.
The Result
The farmer proceeded to apply for planning on the buildings to substantially increase the asset value of the holding and deliver alternative income streams to the farming business.
The Cost
We charged 10% of the total profits identified as a fee.
