The Scenario

A busy solar PV installer was struggling to keep up with the technical administration, firstly, with the installation of import/export meters for clients so that they could be paid their exported electricity and, secondly, with the Ofgem accreditations for solar PV arrays in excess of 50kW whilst at the same time achieving a cost effective and efficient in-house service.

The Solution

We provide dedicated specialist set fee services to undertake the administration of meter installations on behalf of farming clients.

In addition we provide the administrative services for Preliminary and Full Accreditations on the Ofgem Renewables and CHP Register for ROO-FIT including a back-up service to Full Accreditation for Feed-in-Tariffs.

The solar PV installer therefore sub-contracted these services to us on a set project-by-project fee basis.

The Result

The installer was able to streamline their operations at the same time as providing an increased quality service to their clients in this highly technical and specialist area.

Our Involvement

We are providing meter installation and ROO-FIT services to the solar PV installer on an on-going basis.
